For every 10 designs that get into the hands of diaspora clients, at least 6 of them has one issue or the other. 40% of these 6 has measurements issues. Do we say the tailors are the fault or the customers? This problem stems from the discrepancy between a person’s unique body design and the clothing designs he/she prefers. That difference is in the taking of the customer’s measurement. The tailor cannot travel overseas to measure the client, and the client cannot come to the tailor; how then do we bridge that gap?
There are times when the client adds or sheds some weight, and forgets to inform the tailor. On our app, there is a prompt that pops up for a customer to make changes to their measurements if there is need for it.
Our aim is to attracts lovers of African fashion all over the world. We want to use our platform to help people of other cultures find love in the African culture.
Our unit economics is the difference between the price of each piece and its cost of production plus delivery. This is highly dependent on the selling prices.
The sellers on our platforms will be credited for bringing more sellers to the app, and for satisfying more buyers. This would be our appraisal and it will be done bi annually. Tailorstaq will make its money by renting out online spaces for each tailor to have a throwing business.
